By accessing or using the Practice Languages mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access or use the App.
Practice Languages is a language learning application designed to help users learn and practice a new language. The App offers various features including, but not limited to, vocabulary lessons, grammar exercises, speaking practice with voice recording, and a language learning chat bot.
3.1. You may be required to create an account to access certain features of the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
3.2. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
4.1. Practice Languages offers free and premium subscription options. Premium features are available through monthly or annual subscription plans.
4.2. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you choose.
4.3. You can cancel your subscription at any time. Refunds are handled in accordance with the refund policy of the app store through which you purchased the subscription.
4.4. We reserve the right to change subscription fees upon reasonable notice. Any price changes will apply to billing cycles after the notice period.
5.1. The App allows you to input text in the chat feature and record your voice for speaking practice.
5.2. You retain all rights to the content you input through text or voice recording.
5.3. By using these features, you grant Practice Languages a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and process such inputs solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App's services.
5.4. We do not store voice recordings beyond the time necessary for immediate processing and feedback.
5.5. Chat logs may be stored to provide conversation history and improve our services, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to use the App:
7.1. The App and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Practice Languages and its licensors.
7.2. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.
8.1. We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
8.2. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
9.1. Your use of the App is at your sole risk. The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
9.2. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
9.3. We do not warrant that the results that may be obtained from the use of the App, including language learning outcomes, will be accurate or reliable.
In no event shall Practice Languages, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
